Introductions

Your first assignment is a simple one!  Introduce yourself to the class.  If you have already made an introduction from a previous post add current updates to what is happening in your life and copy it onto this blog posting.  To create your own post click on the blue comment link (there is a image of a pencil next to it) at the bottom of the page.  I am excited to get to know you better and help you achieve your goals! Here is an example from a past student.

Hi, my name is Anonymous. I am 20 years old, about to turn 21 on March 19th. I have gone to many schools including Apple Valley High School, Lakeville South High School, Apple Valley ALC, DCALS and now, Rahncliff. I am 4 and half credits from my diploma. I should have my diploma by the end of this session and I am SO EXCITED. I’m looking forward to furthering my education. I’m planning on going to school for nursing. I hope to work as a psych nurse in a hospital, but I would also enjoy moving around and working in plenty of different areas as well. I currently work at Verizon Wireless in Shakopee and I have worked there for just under a year. I don’t hate it, but sales is DEFINITELY not where I plan on staying.

  5. I'm Shane, I'm 18 and was a senior at AVHS last year. I've been to ABE a few times before and I think the second fall course will be the last time I'm here! I'm about 8 or 9 credits away from getting my diploma and I can't wait to be done. I plan on going to Normandale's second semester come the beginning of 2015. Then next fall I'd like to go to Mankato or UND. I don't really know what I want to major in yet but I might want to do something in theatre/directing. As far as something about the law, I've TOTALLY never broken it ever in my life.

    1. It's not easy, and you can choose a career and realized after several year that wasn't what you expected to be, but the only way to fail is stop trying. Life always give you the chance to reinvent your destiny.

  9. Hi,
My name is Nadah, pronounced like netta. I came to ABE so that i can graduate early because high school really does suck. I am not 100% sure about what i want to do after high school, but i have been looking a lot into the Navy. I am currently a server at Red Lobster, I've been there for the past two years and I am hoping to serve/bartend through college. My dream is to major and get a successful career in forensic psychology, its the only thing I'm interested in.

  10. Hi. I'm Carly. I am 17 years old, soon to be 18. I have always gone to Burnsville High school, until i missed my full junior year and district 191 didn't have the programs that 196 has to offer me to be able to catch up in time to walk and graduate with my class. I go to the applevalley ALC in the day time and am taking evening classes here to be able to finish quicker. I am expected to graduate on January 28th. I work full time. I work as a bank teller at TCF bank and just put my two week notice in as a manager at the Apple Valley papa murphys to be able to focus more on my education. I am counting down the days until school is over and until its finally summer again.
